X DX Series

The DX and X Series is brand new 2022 line up from DuroMax. Featuring an all-new design and onboard CO Alert sensor, this series spans the gamut from 4000-watt range generators best for recreational or jobsite uses to 13000 watt units ideal for whole home power back up.

In this series the “X” designation stands for electric start while the “D” represents hybrid or “Dual Fuel” capability meaning our “DX” units can run on either gasoline or liquid propane which provides the freedom and flexibility of fuel choice. While gasoline is a tried-and-true fuel option, liquid propane lasts longer, costs less, has a longer storage life and won’t gum up the carburetor.

DuroMax’s commitment to the longest lasting ALL COPPER WINDINGS (stater and rotor) gensets in the industry shines through in the DX and X series making them the longest lasting portable generators in their respective class. All copper windings are a unique quality to all DuroMax generators, ensuring long lasting life that utilize aluminum or aluminum blend gensets.

Our DX and X series generators come equipped with various start types from keyed starts, rocker starts, and push button starts on our larger models. All DX and X series models utilize all metal construction frames which make the units more rugged and stronger compared to competitor units that utilize mainly plastic components. In addition, the DX and X series have fully isolated motor mounts, and an oversized noise reducing muffler with a built-in spark arrestor allowing for smooth and quiet operation. All DX and X models run on solid fill no flat tires with an included handle kit for smooth transportation over any terrain.

Equipped with larger gasoline tanks compared to similar size competitor models, the DX and X series are known for extended run times of over 8 hours on a full tank of gasoline. All DX and X series generators are both EPA and CARB approved for use in all 50 states and are covered by an industry leading 5-year residential, 1-year commercial factory warranty.
